Relax-cation
sometimes to achieve total relaxation
requires taking a vacation
out of time, out of space
leaving the race
we’ve been
running
recognize the signs
when there’s simply no time
to attend to the not-yet-done
shadowing the desire to have fun
take a pause and remove the cause
of overwhelm

Let Us Pause
yes we can destroy old structures
but what value have they held?
are we ready to replace them?
only time will tell
let us pause
and consider

did i skip a day
or did i not?
was there a 29th of February
or was there not?
somewhere in the process
i was caught

it was a habit taught
living out of time
the date does not matter
it is the energies present
we want to flatter
