Conversations Abound

conversations abound
a desire to share
observations, perspectives
of all that’s out there

a willingness to speak
and to listen with intent
to come to agreement
or to agree to dissent

a platform for creation
even talk to ourselves
perspectives, embellishments
taken off the shelves

given a new look
or function or place
conversations explore
creating a new base

each base or foundation
strengthens with time
enjoy the expansion
and play with the rhyme

Revisit the Past

revisit the past
but don’t let it last
remembrance is fine
it is part of the vine

and the wine of the grape
invites us to partake
and recognize the flavour
of past aging to savour

dear God

is this you?

your presence

is so true

to really feel you within

to be with the divine

is expanding my horizons

and straightening my spine

…“behold you are gifted
with a presence so true
you will be augmented
in all that you do

simply receive
from that guidance within
you will always have confidence
on where to begin

the time to become
truly all that you are
has arrived here, be present
for nothing is far

the expanse of potentials
the field of the new
is the infinite expression
from all that you do

feeling blessed, being grateful
acknowledging the change
understanding we’re together
it is time to rearrange”…
