represents our belief
that peace is a goal for humanity
the symbol for love
shows a desire to take care of
and is known for its universality
a symbol holds more
than the words held in store
a promise held in its totality

we complain on how
our lives seem to be
but we have lives

we drop the word i
in so many ways
but there is one where its use
is best if it stays
feel the difference between
a casual “love you”
and an “i love you”
that comes from the heart
recognize the power
of that personal part
it recognizes the beauty
of another to start
and it feels
so real
