Speaking the Language
as we gift our remembrance
we seek to shed the outer skin
a peeling back, a letting go
so that in newness we begin
in the journey of humanity
we had so much to learn
those who still fight for control
are seeing their goal
has been out-distanced
the beauty of life
the caring for others
shines thru from the permanence
of our very existence
humanity was created from love
and we are returned
with a vengeance against untruths
