Antonio Stradivarius
a name from the past
refined his art to a quality
that would last and outlast
many generations
perhaps 600 instruments
violins in particular
are still coveted and played
others preserved, displayed
honouring the artist
and the sacredness
of sound
how can an instrument
made over 3000 years ago
still share its beauty
to the human ear?

in faithfulness to our truth
to the guidance we receive
to the wholeness of who we are
to the divine origin in which we believed
there was a loss for which we grieved
now found – received
to never more
ever leave
