Stillness
there is a stillness in the air
an absence of the wind
the quietude of presence
naught to promote or to rescind
stillness is the envy
of the busyness of mind
the pureness of just being
often lost we seek to find
that quietude of presence
that surround sound that is blank
that nothingness, that stillness
that peace when absent that we thank
oft found by going inbound
the seeking within the in
and arriving into nothingness
we stay and breathe it in
then
from that place of stillness
a sacred sparkle stirs within
… come what may…
joy is birthed as movement
and a newness comes to play
