Capacity to Change

Capacity to Change
so many human abilities
let us focus on one
the ability to change
what we do or have done
the capacity to change
still remains unrecognized
a capacity untapped
for a future revised
why do we not own it
our capacity to change?
surely there are no blockages
it really does seem strange
we know we’re at the tipping point
a delicate balance held
the science and prophecies tell us
its time for wisdom and gifts to meld
our capacity to change
is our ticket to secure the future
a world of peace and harmony
found by becoming a rerouter
a different path, a different choice
abandoning old patterns…
curious to see the consequences?

Pacific Sands

Pacific Sands

the waves that are lapping
that are coming onshore
are waters of the Pacific
that have been here before

the ebb and the flow
the continuous sound
sometimes they’re gentle
sometimes they pound

tune in to the rhythm
tune in to the sound
the waters are like a pulse
a heartbeat to be found

or is it the breathing
the in and the out
an expansion, contraction
that continues without

without any conscious awareness
of having to do
a continuous consistency
to plug into too

like sands that receive
the waves of the ocean
and shorelines that are molded
by the continuous motion

we too are formed
by what we receive
and how we respond
and choose to perceive

Pacific Sands of the shorelines
expanses of great beauty
multitudes of tiny crystals
holding wisdom as a duty

a duty to record
all thoughts and emotions
the history of life
from the land and the oceans

the waters receive them
and hold them within
and take them to shorelines
where an emptying begins

depositing each
in a crystal of sand
the shorelines hold the records
and the love of this land

One More Poem

One More Poem

rise up
it’s the morn
you have arrived
at a time now reborn

enter this world with senses attuned
and allow the reverberance of all to be tuned

the magistery of awakening into this now
is the simple understanding of creation and how
there can be only a semblance of feelings and thoughts
taking form in a mergence of each other’s lots

come to the table and spread out your wares
what can be gifted and what can be shared?

many will swap and some will decide
to keep what they have and nurture aside
to grow into something that then they can share
an expanded version of an idea or ware

becoming, combining like building blocks of play
we are entering into the days of the Way
where all creation is attuned to the vibration of love
and construction is blessed by the flight of the dove

the pureness of peace now will settle and ground
and all will be balanced as they look around
and see the glow and the love and the happiness fair
and smiles on the faces of all who are there

gentle and kind, caring and true
all blessed by the presence of God as we do
