A Change Ahead
Running down the hallways
Checking out the doorways
Been there
Done that
A quiet one – do not disturb
A boisterous one – was not observed
Wide open doors
So many scenes
Many lives and in betweens
Onward still and swiftly too
Following a curving line
Stretching thru an endless time
A feeling now of having done
a journey long ago begun
And then behold
A change ahead
A point to view
Has stopped us dead
And from this point
there is a choice
To stay, go back
repeat a cycle
Or take a leap
Jump to the new
Discover within
what we can do
To start again
from a different place
Imbued with love
with joy and grace
