Unpeeled
the layers of protection
can be unpeeled to the core
and the heart of the bulb
can be exposed forever more
the bulb will then sprout
unfettered, released
for protection’s not needed

about to blow its cork

into the newness that we be
feeling as the containers
of a power that is free
freedom to be
infinite potential
