look what happens when we talk
our worlds connect in a wholeness
the key from separation unlocked

sharing and comparing, perspectives galore
leads to understanding another’s feelings
and we feel it once more
both sharing a feeling right to the core

once felt, once recognized
we are the same, looking out of the eyes
the eyes of creation, eyes of duplication
eyes of curiosity and eyes of right relation

what we have seen
acknowledging where we’ve been
leads to collaboration
creating a meme

and memes are the host
the constructors, the desire
to bring about change
love igniting a fire

Who are Your Heroes?

who are your heroes and do you align?
role models, teachers who help to define
living a life with true meaning and inspired
to carry the torch, impassioned, rewired

take time to devote to and practice such traits
step into the world where your passion resonates
be in the power of love and emotion
fuelling your actions with passion and devotion

blessed are they who have stepped up and done
for they set in motion how battles are won
lead on and be all you can be
meet every challenge, parting the sea

so all can walk forth into the fertile future
bringing their crafts and experience to nurture
each deep inner spark that resides in the hearts
of the many who wait to align and take part

waking in the night with nowhere to go
peaceful respite in the stillness
hearing the no sound that makes the ears ring
emptied of worry and illness

aware of the breath, even and soft
the only movement thru time
the temptation to count released in the dark
allowing the rhythm to rhyme

and then the visions, the grasses that blow
on the plains of renewal within us
the matrix of life extended once more
out of the realm of what was
