Gentleness and Kindness

To be gentle
To be kind
At our very core we will find
the essence of love
that is waiting to shine

We are born into being
and nurtured into seeing
but what of within
where we wanted to begin

At some special moment
an awakening occurs
and a desire to understand it
is the enticement that allures

So if the key to our journey
has been hidden within
let’s not wait to finally get there
Let us start here and begin

Wherever we find ourselves
is a perfect place to be
and to be kind, to be gentle
to all we witness and see

And to be gentle with ourselves
and kind not abusive
will allow us to understand
a meaning that’s elusive

A meaning for life
Each individual journey
Any suffering experienced
or witnessed as learning

Why we are here
why we answered the call
was to add our perspective
to the infinite All

Dancing with all life forms
Singing with the tunes
Being here, taking action
Watching creation as it blooms
