We Can Do This
we can do this with love
let us look thru those eyes
see the love as expressed
by us all for we’re wise
wise in our visions
of how it can be
wise to the experiences
that have taught us for free
to be caring and compassionate
to embody those traits
to live in each moment
to be patient and wait
to wait for the flow
to go ‘round all obstructions
to continue to “get there”
by carefully designed constructions
constructing a plan
where all can commit
to a goal for each other
with this we submit
we will always be present
with good intentions at heart
if we cannot be there that way
then let us temporarily depart
if we are plain tired
or not feeling well
we need to be covered
or our energies will tell
and for those that we care for
we ask they too commit
for any disruptive behaviour
can affect others a bit
we all seek the love
we want a life full of peace
we can give what we can
and the rest we release
release to those wiser
and to helpers unseen
not knowing the future
only what has been
