The Call of the Wild
to only stop and listen
to the call of the wild
a place that’s not imprisoned
by the systems that we’ve compiled
hear it, see it, taste it
let its scent reach your sense of smell
blessed be the natural
in which we’re meant to dwell
oh to answer that call
it beckons to us every day
to take time to be immersed
in a wild and natural way

travelling, we are aware
as passagers of time
experiencing, feeling
opening to the divine
almost there, an interlude
pausing to reflect
realizing what we thought we knew
we’re ready to eject
opening, resonating
with what is to become
the knots, the ties
that held us back
are about to be undone
