Blessings of the Mornings
if there ever was such as
a favourite time of day
it might be the earliest of early
morning times i’d say
awakened and still
rested from sleep
mind that is clear
and ready to meet
what comes thru
a walk to the beach
a sunrise approaching
a mediative practice
open to some coaching
or on a midwinter’s morn
lighting a candle
a cup of tea in hand
and ready to handle
what emerges
peace, joy, love
and so much gratitude
inspiration and connections
positive resurrections
now placed into the present
the day begins
with a happy heart
