The Preface
let us be the preface
to the dawning of the new
a dim light that is strengthening
on the horizon’s coloured hue
the spin of the centrifuge
the spiralling thru time
the aspects of humanity
seeking the divine
the lightening, the brightening
as we sync together
an integration based on love
that is forecasting the whether
the whether or not we have now
now become the numbers needed
with open hearts, awareness
of what our love has seeded?
the storms amass and soon will pass
as we stabilize the whether
feeling the peace and the love
as we meditate together

Pineapple Express

from the lands of warmth and generosity
blow the winds with such a velocity
that all is cleared, the freshness cheered
and the rains rinse all sorrows away

the sweetness, the scent, of flowers is meant
to procure the events now ensuing
the pleasurable scenes are truly the means
to evoke the very fruits of our dreams

to stand on the shores of the ocean of love
to receive the blessings from water
to cherish the connection, the medium of love
saturating the newness, the becoming of
the formless and yet unknown

Mesmerized

Mesmerized

mesmerized by the power of words
the energy, enchantment held by the sound
the multiple meanings whose intent can be bound
by words as they’re spoken, received, verbed or nouned

precious the vehicle to express who we are
to communicate to others our feelings and share
what we are experiencing, what we want there to be
adjectives are plentiful as we embellish and foresee

our means of expression, gentle or not
greatly enhances the meaning that’s caught
received or replayed, embedded or felt
the words we are using can be also misspelt

and does a misspelling alter the word
most often not for it is how it is heard
releasing the rules, focussing on the sound
we can ultimately play with all that’s outbound

the skill of enhancing the words that we use
is in the passion expressed with the intent to infuse
another or others who are there to receive
our heartfelt emotions and what we believe

there is something missing
when we don’t speak from the heart
for the heart knows the beauty
of the words we impart
