The Global Electorate
The global electorate are witnessing the scene.
Their vested interest is there. It has always been. For we are the people that share of this Earth. We are the inhabitants who arrived at our birth. We are the ones who have choices to make. We are the ones who have everything at stake. Able to communicate and share. Here, there and everywhere, we watch, we debate and we won’t condone a mistake made by a small portion of the global electorate. So wait, allow all to settle. Listen to your hearts. What kind of fear can possibly steer anyone to vote for any potential leader so remote from honouring the Golden Rule? What virtues do we honour? Who walks their talk and speaks to the collective’s well being. And what of the seers? What are they seeing? The fall of an empire? A way of life so corroded it’s but a matter of time before it’s imploded…to begin again? Surely the awakened ones can share their perspectives. Surely we can listen deeply to those wanting to be elected. Who has in their hearts the ability to restart and transform the old ways into new, interdependent, co-creative ways? Replacing with the new. This we can do. Reciprocity reinstated. The sacred Golden Rule. Freedom to live…altruistically. Embracing simplicity, artistry. Feeding the soul. Losing the materialistic yearnings by delving into the internal learnings and understanding love. And let us ask, “who speaks of love?” What is at the core of our very existence? What is it we seek throughout our lifetimes? What do we cherish more than anything else? To love and be loved? Are we not here in our lifetimes to experience love, to appreciate the beauty and the opportunities given…to love? A prayer we share: May the opportunity now given, allow no heart to be hidden in fear of an outcome. For what we can become is an act of being it. Being love, inclusive love. Deeply caring for our brothers, sisters, the great diversities of this our birthplace. May we live on, experiencing the grace and extraordinary opportunity to evolve into a new way of living. May all suffering dissolve as we embrace and care for the global electorate. May we live in peace, experiencing the joy, the beauty and always live in gratitude for the great bounty of… love. And may we honour love’s great potential.
As the global electorate, we will all cast our vote, however remote from the election forthcoming. And our prayers will form layers of concern and support for life on this planet, for surely we can plan it. To live in peace and gift a nurturing, safe future for our cherished children, who are our future, thru loving kindness. May this be, a vote from we, the global electorate.
