Biorhythms

the growth, the movement, the potential of life
initiated with a spark, nurtured by tithe
the heartbeat, the breath, the blink of the eye
biorhythms all and we’re wondering why

rapture, elation, in awe of all life
entraining to Earth’s vibrations
the resonance of life

biorhythms constant
echoing and mirrored
biorhythms holographic
of the cosmic overseer

wanting for nothing
but to sing the same song
the rhythm of life
celebrated by drum or by gong

yes
we too
are the instruments
of the now and bygone

The New Moon

The New Moon

the new moon from now until noon
carries the energy of renewal
the new moon, the unseen until soon
blessed as the mysterious jewel

the hidden jewel, the pearl of the skies
reflecting back, nothing at times
and in the darkness, in that empty space
we return to our centres to commune with grace

a new beginning, a newness so fresh
such pure potential, let us catch our breath
the canvas is empty, all structures unformed
co-creators gather holding visions to be born

in sacred alignment, readied to bring
into the world a desire to sing
of the beauty of love, of the gentle and kind
from a permanent bridge ‘tween the heart and the mind

and as we understand that our hearts beat as one
we now access a multi-dimensional mind that’s the sum
of all our perspectives, of all our gifts
a treasure chest for the making
of all that uplifts

The Spirit of Forgiveness

When the feelings of anger stir deeply within
There is a segue to peace and here’s where to begin
Anger and many of the negative modes
Come from us judging and not reading the codes

The codes of communication are often misread
And our reactions can be harmful not helpful instead
To go first to embodying the spirit of forgiveness
We are positioned to find resolution thru curiosity and giveness

Curious with ourselves as to how we’ve reacted
Seeking to understand how communication has impacted
Deep seated emotions fueled from our own pasts
Brought to the surface to explore and recast

To give to another the opportunity to explain
Lightens the atmosphere where they’ve been arraigned
To listen from the heart once the question is asked
And let them speak from the heart once the question is cast

Many a conversation when handled this way
Erases our judgement and puts understanding into play
So the spirit of forgiveness is the ultimate place
To go to and rest in the presence of grace
