The Dolphins

The Dolphins

they have arrived
that’s what she cried
with an urgent plea
to come and see

and there they were
surging towards us
an awesome sight
simply gorgeous

a focused stream
like boiling water
sound increasing
as it grew hotter

they passed below us
close to the rock face
packed tightly together
a streamlined fast pace

the lead dolphin then
stopped for but a moment
then carried on with
what this poem meant

the dolphins came
to celebrate the same
as we are doing
the great re-Newing

they have let us know
that we’re in tow
they picked up our prayers
and added to theirs

the waters now
are fully charged
our ability to communicate
has been enlarged

what we now choose
to be and do
will create the future
all very New

The End of Suffering

The End of Suffering

The end of suffering?
Where did it begin
What was the problem?
The original sin?

Perhaps we should throw out
all we have been told
And create a new story
A re-make that is bold

Let us begin with an intention:
We intend to change this dimension
Like oil held in water in suspension
when it covers the whole surface
there is tension….
Shake it up
Empty the cup
And begin again

An empty vessel
A potential to fill
Careful choices
Imagination and skill

Working together
to plan the New
Mixing our gifts
with Love as glue

Knowing our future
is all accessible
Releasing old habits
the infinitesimal

Creating new pathways
Experiencing new ways
Paving the future
Fulfilling our days

We have arrived
at the time of the New
To end the suffering
is what we will do!

A Flower

A Flower

Let us start with a flower
It represents life
A growing creation
in the kingdom of fife

Catapult in to the realms of unknown
and there you will see how the seeding is sown

All of the magnitude of options are known
A handful of seeds can be broadcast and blown
into the corners of everywhere grown
and every seed’s focus is to flower a home

A home is for resting, for beauty and joy
and into this home comes a pollen envoy
It’s a colourful place and is scented with love
and can be held on a plant near the ground or above

Seldom if ever the flower will wilt
before it has hosted a bee with its gilt
The bee comes to visit and carries away
the pollen, the nectar to serve a new day

The fruit of the flower can take many a form
It becomes nut or seed or is fleshy like corn
And the fruit holds the seeds in a long lasting way
so it can be transported to a new site to grow and to stay

To stay and begin what we’ve already seen
There are multitudes of seedings going on and again
take note of the flower, the crowning jewel of a plant
and know it to be just what heaven has scent
