For the Children Everywhere

we are responsible for the children everywhere
they are ours to protect and look after
children are our gifts to the future
precious commodities to value and nurture

commodities not to be bought and sold, unspeakable
but of such value as to be immeasurable
the children know the truth and can see it
we must honour their sight and be it

honour the way the children want us to be
ever present and engaged with them
sharing our stories and giving opportunities
opportunities to be all that they are

let us not live thru our children for all we are not
let our children live their own lives supported
let us collaborate to support each child
supporting the children in their becoming

the art of becoming savours freedom
freedom of expression, freedom of creativity
and the art of becoming flourishes with togetherness
much sharing of perspectives to build the new

building the new, who knew this would be
this would be our children’s playground
let us make this playground safe, accessible to all children
a playground spacious, seeded for their imaginations

the imaginations of the blossoming children
so capable of seeing the solutions to the world that is
so eager to inoculate the world with their love and hope
“it is easy”, they will say, for that is how their minds work

for the children everywhere
we give our love
for the children everywhere
we give our time
for the children everywhere
we honour you
blessed be our future, combined

Stop all that we are doing
All that we are thinking
and Be

for this is both our hope and opportunity
we must tune in to the vibrations of life
stop the busyness and feel

we are the conscious life that can make change
we have the ability to choose
we must listen to the symptoms
for ours is a planet in trouble
maybe not the planet herself
but the life residing here

let us talk about birth
tomorrow is always our re-birthday
fly home
there is a big reception waiting

love
so much love waiting to welcome us home

precious
precious is the time we will be together

recognize each other
lovingly, wisely, simply, divinely
unique

cherish what becomes of the future
we are becoming
becoming what we desire
feel it
know it
and commence

we are the builders
many still sleeping
we will return
softly
with love
to awaken

Focus on the Children

Focus on the Children

can there be a better intent in these times that present
than to focus on the children?
those who we love, who we’ve dreamed for and of
let us design now their future

what does it take to recognize the mistake
of misguided creativity?
return now to the power within, time to begin
with a prayer for guidance

cherish our past, where we did not doubt peace would last
and play it forward
visit the future, forming details from the blur
and bring it home

we are the dream sayers, we are the future layers
being conscious of that
what we desire must burn as a fire
for our children beyond

never before has the future in store
been so uncertain
knowing we have the power, let us rise as a tower
of strength and explore

the new frontier requires leaders to steer
thru the path of renewal
and all must commit for it’s not time to sit
on the comforts we’ve known

the children are our seed, to cherish and feed
and to honour their future
life must return to a balance, acting now not to take a chance
with the influence of misguidance

tune into the heart song, we share it, we belong
to a race capable of mindfulness
let our hearts beat together so we reconfigure the weather
calming climate and rage

let us set the stage

let us turn the page

for our children, the future
