The Meaning of Life

You are invited to participate
and in your language articulate
the meaning of life…

The pleasure is ours
A significant question…

On Earth, you take so much for granted. The joy of a new birth. The sheltering. The nourishment. And on it goes. This is the life cycle of all in your biosphere. Every chipmunk. Every dog. Every tree. All life you see. Cycling on. So many are intent on getting ahead. Accumulating material wealth. Competing for the best. And what of the rest? Quagmired in eternal poverty, be it location, societal pressures, health – many, many have not a chance for survival. Survival. Now the question…the meaning of life. Do not humans consider themselves to be at the peak of the animal kingdom? And are they not ignoring the very basics of survival? Survival of a species. One species cannot survive if it has upset the balance of inter-relationships of the many. The meaning of life is all about opportunity. Life is the opportunity to grow, to adapt, to learn, to support other life. Opportunity to procreate, to co-create, to orchestrate the beauty of life, of love. An opportunity to harmonize with all. The New Currency

The New Currency

dollars and cents really don’t make sense
what is their history?
a basic exchange, a way to rearrange
simplicity

an expression of gratitude
a measure of value
an offer to help
a sharing of abundance

whole economies and global mistrust
have evolved from a manipulation
of currencies, investments, lending
and borrowing – a created illusion

what is the solution?
let’s try inclusion
from a place of no ego
and no owing

the currency of love
what if our focus was on giving not receiving?
what if we totally investigated our believing
that money matters?

does not our true joy
come from loving kindness?
can a sharing economy be created
from generosity dissolving our blindness
acknowledging the suffering of others
celebrating the gifts we can share
educating, elevating others
to a place of simple comfort
simple sustainable co-existence
on this beautiful planet of co-habitation

can we live from a place of “no rules for me”
simply doing our work as
an expression of gratitude
a measure of value
an offer to help
a sharing of abundance?

a life long investment
in the circling spiral
of life
and of love

this is and always has been
our primary currency
all other currencies and exchanges
can be subsets of the above
if they simply fit

Responsibility and Deliverance

Responsibility and Deliverance

we are all responsible
for the world we have created
and without a conductor
what have we orchestrated?

whether playing a solo
or influenced by our sections
the music we play
has fractional dimensions

and to the one who is listening
it doesn’t make sense
there is little harmony
and the energy is dense

to bring in the awareness
there is a conductor
and if we acknowledged her
she could be our instructor

the Earth we live upon
known as Gaia to many
is our common ground
and the land of plenty

she is a living being
and has her own vibration
she is the conductor of life
central to our lives’ creation

time to listen
and honour what we’ve ignored
and the bringing into balance
will be the end reward

to achieve now peace and harmony
to honour the diversity of life
we must now come together
not as past destructors who caused strife

this is the opportunity
to witness and listen in
our conductor has the experience
let the harmonizing now begin
