Circular Waves

Circular Waves

a powerful vessel moves from the horizon
a straight line has been its course
it suddenly turns and without breaking speed
turns into a circle with force

waves are created as the vessel ploughs thru
creating circular waves in form
each side of the vessel pushes out waves
as soon a complete circle is born

the vessel then leaves
back on a straight course
the observer is left to see
waves continue to move
both inwards and out of
the circle that was left to be

the circles moving out continue to grow
circles widening, becoming fainter to see
the waves moving in constrict in form
and their amplitude increases to be

a constricted circle that then meets as a fountain
and again moves out in a wave
the very expression of a wave moving inward
shows how inner movement of waves can behave
