Toss Out the Old

Toss out the old
Old ways do not work
The old has dissolved
Only fragments still lurk

It is time to create
new ways of doing
being careful not to rely on
the old blueprints’ clueing

If we have a gem
that we feel is worth sharing
place it in the middle
It’s about sharing and caring

Then all sit around
Sit in a circle
Start the conversation
It may result in a miracle

We all now know that
we each carry a perspective
Each sees the gem
and can speak their directive

We each can present
our very own narrative
to add to the remix
co-creation’s imperative

It is not just what we see
from the place where we sit
Our life experiences and thoughts
also colour our drift

What wealth there is
every time we gather
Adding shampoo to water
is when we get the lather

The gem in the middle
may also be a question
Again sharing perspectives
may teach the lesson

So start with the gem
Past info doesn’t matter
It’s about new beginnings
and quieting the brain chatter

Allow all to flow
into the centre
The collective discussion
is the new mentor

Mercury Retrograde

A question to ponder
Here on Earth as we wander
What happens to us
when Mercury’s on the cusp?

And when there is a retrograde time
there is no sublime
Our lighthouse not seen
Navigation has been
Interrupted

What is the purpose?
We ask that you help us
to understand these interludes
The expected/unexpected feud

You want to share your perspectives
and suggest some directives
We await what is gifted
Our curiosity is lifted
with thanks

Every branch that expands
into diversity commands
a time of reflection
to approve the direction

Infinite possibilities
held in a vacuum with abilities
needs a time of reversal
before the final dispersal

The Mother loves all
and to hear their call
she will sometimes ignore
all that’s been said before

and critical to this dance
About holding the axis
and the still point of practice

A five-pointed star
can be seen from afar
yet at some point is seen
as a singular beam
of light

Which Came First?

Which Came First?

Which came first?
The dinosaur or its egg?
Was it a slow evolution
or a spontaneous segue?

The question, this question
brought an image renewed
from a long ago meditation
it was once more reviewed

Suspended in nothingness
No place, no time
Was a copper-coloured egg
of a description divine

The egg was so beautiful
reflecting rainbow coloured hues
It seemed to be waiting
to deliver what news?

Does this egg of creation
wait somewhere unknown?
Does it wait to gestate
what wants to be grown?

Copper, yes copper
It’s symbol is Cu
To see you, to hear you
to know who you are….

ICU, i see you or
Intensive Care Unit…
to intensively care…
to be aware

Copper, conductor of
energy and heat
Malleable, colourful
Orange and blue meet

Such a container
for the plasma within
When will this egg hatch?
What will begin?
